What is Daggerheart?
Daggerheart is a modern tabletop roleplaying game focused on cinematic storytelling, emotional character arcs, and collaborative worldbuilding.
Instead of rigid turns and heavy rule systems, Daggerheart encourages players and GMs to shape the story together, making choices that matter both mechanically and narratively.
It was created by Darrington Press, the publishing arm of Critical Role.
Is Daggerheart similar to Dungeons & Dragons?

Daggerheart shares the fantasy RPG roots of games like D&D, but its design philosophy is different.

Do I need experience with tabletop RPGs?

Joining the Daggerheart Singapore community is completely free.
For most community games and beginner-friendly one-shots, Game Masters will usually provide what you need to play, such as cards, character sheets, or other materials.
However, some games may have specific requirements. This could include bringing your own dice, using online tools, or (in some cases) paying a session fee if the GM is running a paid game.
Always check the game’s requirements in the session post before signing up, so you know exactly what to expect.
If you’re unsure, you can always ask the GM — the community is happy to help clarify.

How do I join a game?
Absolutely.
Daggerheart Singapore welcomes GMs of all experience levels to run games, experiment with ideas, and share stories.
If you’re new to GMing, the community is happy to offer support, feedback, and resources.
In order to protect the integrity and safety of the community, joining the discord as a GM requires completing a simple vetting process.
